Oak Terrace Preserve Forms Neighborhood Advisors
Oak Terrace Preserve residents are getting organized to get things done. This month, three new groups are forming to get together, get outside and get the word out!
Get Together
The Neighborhood Events Committee is finding members to help create some opportunities to socialize beyond our usual chats in the alleys or waves to neighbors while on a walk. We’re hoping to find ideas beyond getting together at a local restaurant or having a block party (although we’re always happy for those opportunities). Some initial thoughts are having a neighborhood team in the Bridge run or and Earth Day event community service event.
Get Outside
The Open Space Committee is meeting to help make plans for OTP’s many pocket parks and other public spaces. Their working with our resident landscape designer (and HOA president) to come up with some innovative ways to use our pocket parks. They’ll also have some opportunities to create a long term vision for the open space in Oak Terrace Preserve.
Get the Word Out
Oak Terrace Preserve’s Newsletter and Blog are looking for resident volunteers to help get the word out about the neighborhood. If you’re good with words, and don’t mind volunteering some time, we’d love to hear from you.
If you are a resident of Oak Terrace Preserve and would like to get involved, pleas contact Elias Deeb for more information.
