City of North Charleston Receives National Honors from Corporate Sponsored Non-Profit
NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – A news conference will be held Monday, December 14 at City Hall, in which a major corporate foundation will honor the City of North Charleston with a national award for the City’s ongoing sustainable revitalization of its historic neighborhoods. A North Charleston based non-profit organization will also receive a major grant during the news conference, to support its mission of public education for sustainable living in the Lowcountry.
The news conference will include an awards presentation, a short documentary video, presentation of a grant check, and a brief Q&A session for the news media. The news conference will last approximately 12 minutes. News releases and other material will be provided to the media in attendance.
This presentation of a coveted, prestigious award entails a major recognition for our community, and a substantial non-profit organization grant won in competition with cities throughout the United States.
