Bioswale construction update
Plant material arrived today. Plumbing and final grading are complete, now the plants are being installed. All plants are native and are being carefully placed in their appropriate micro-climate (where they’re happiest).
Some of the plants included are Spartina Bakeri, Soft Rush, Blue Flag Iris, Native Canna, Dwarf Palmetto and Hibiscus M. ‘River Blue II’.

Filbin Creek cleanup
There will be a cleanup at Filbin Creek and Attaway Street this
Saturday, July 25th from 9:00 to 10:30am. This is the last cleanup
made possible through a Palmetto Pride Grant the Foundation received
earlier this year. Please come out and lend a hand!
**Please bring your own water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray**

Bioswale/pocket park update
After some serious rain delays and the July 4th holiday week Three Oaks Contracting is back at work at OTP. They are currently working on the new sections of bioswale along Celtic Dr. Weather permitting, the bioswale and pocket park work should be complete by the end of August.
