Charleston SMSA Housing, Construction Boosts with Improving Economy

With the growth of technology-based and aerospace employment in North Charleston, local housing activity currently surpasses national numbers. Although the statistics are nowhere near record highs of the pre-recession bubble,for the local market, sales volume stood at 7 percent higher, and the median price 4 percent, over the same numbers last year.
